After he missed some time due to a bone bruise on his right knee, Tacko Fall was back on the floor for the Red Claws on Friday. Maine won 127-121 against the Iowa Wolves (Minnesota).
He only logged 14 minutes, but Fall still finished with 13 points on 5-for-8 shooting (2-for-2 at the free-throw line). Fall also had five rebounds and two blocked shots.
Regarding his rim protection: Iowa's bigs seemed more intimidated by Fall than their guards — specifically, Jordan McLaughlin. The point guard both blew past Fall on one possession in the second quarter, then drained a fadeaway in the paint against the Celtics' two-way player soon after. Opposing teams could look for that sort of mismatch in the future if Fall cannot adjust.
