In addition to Bill Belichick and Brad Stevens, Alex Cora was on the list of calls Bruce Cassidy made while the Bruins waited for their Stanley Cup Final opponent to emerge from the Western Conference. Prior to Thursday's game, Cora expressed he didn't have much to offer Cassidy because of one major factor:
"I'm like, 'We don't play hockey in Puerto Rico,'" Cora said. "'Keep doing what you're doing, you'll be fine.'"
As Cora said, the Bruins were fine in the first game and look to take a 2-0 lead in the series on Wednesday. The puck drops at 8 p.m., two hours after Red Sox first pitch.
