Andrew Cashner is officially on the Red Sox roster.

The starting pitcher, who was acquired from Baltimore Saturday in exchange for minor-leaguers Noelberth Romero and Elio Prado, arrived at Fenway Park just prior to Sunday night's game against the Dodgers, taking the field with a No. 48 Red Sox uniform.

In order to get Cashner on the active roster (he is slated to start Tuesday night against the Blue Jays) the Red Sox placed Steven Wright on the injured list with a right great toe contusion. Wright was hit in the foot with a Max Muncy liner in the seventh inning Saturday night.

Cashner's first Red Sox start will be against the team, Toronto, he most recently faced, holding the Jays to one run over seven innings on July 6.

The 32-year-old righty has had a superb run of late, totaling a 1.41 ERA over his last five starts.
