Things hadn't been going Rick Porcello through the first two starts of his 2019 season. But as bad as the Red Sox' hurler's struggles had been they were nothing compared to what the hitter he faced with two outs and the bases loaded in the first inning Saturday had been going through.

After Friday night Chris Davis had zero hits in his previous 54 at-bats.

That all changed thanks to a misplaced Porcello fastball.

Davis jumped all over the pitcher's 1-0, 92 mph heater and lined it into right field for a two-run base hit. The lefty not only tipped his hat to a euphoric Orioles dugout, but kept the baseman as a souvenir. The Fenway Park fans, many of who mockingly cheered for the slugger prior to the at-bat, offered him sincere congratulations with another round of applause.
