In an article published in the Boston Globe titled, "Medical workers share concerns about masks delivered by Patriots plane" it was written that a good portion of the masks delivered to New York and Boston by the Patriots' team plane were a Chinese version of the N95 masks, classified as KN95.
The report went on to say that medical workers were reluctant to use the masks delivered from China, classifying the KN95 as notch below the effectiveness of N95 masks.
