Red Sox fans, you're not going to like this description of pitcher Red Sox passed on in Mookie deal

Remember the name Brusdar Graterol.

For followers of the Red Sox, that directive stems from the fact Graterol was the pitcher who was originally supposed to join Alex Verdugo in coming to Boston in exchange for Mookie Betts and David Price.

From the Dodgers' fans' perspective, it simply is about what this pitcher actually might become.

While the Red Sox will likely always stand by their decision to pass on Graterol due to medical concerns -- instead getting infielder Jeter Downs and catcher Connor Wong to along with Verdugo -- the description Dodgers reliever Joe Kelly offered on the Bradfo Sho podcast when asked about the pitcher probably won't give Sox fans the warm-and-fuzzies:

"We threw in a lot of the same spring training games this spring. Easy 100 (mph). It’s crazy, man," Kelly said. "He’s a beast. He’s a freak of nature. He plays ping-pong both hands just as good. He’s very special to watch. He’s humble. A great kid. Sometimes you can be a little showy or everything, but he’s nothing like that. I think he’s going to be nasty. He’s a future closer to me. He’s not afraid, too. He likes the competition. And he’s got a good golf swing."

Graterol pitched in three spring training games with the Dodgers, allowing just one baserunner.
