The Patriots' Twitter account offered some optimism heading into the Pats' Sunday night game against the Lions.

The team's social media platform showed various players boarding the plane for Detroit, among them was offensive tackle Marcus Cannon.

The fact that Cannon is making the trip suggests he is ready to participate after missing last Sunday in Jacksonville with an injured calf. He was not present with the Patriots in their loss to the Jaguars. Both Cannon and Nate Ebner -- who also boarded the plane -- were listed as questionable.
