Both Kevin Youkilis and Derek Lowe made it into the Red Sox Hall of Fame this past summer. Now they will get their chance to crack the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
Youkilis and Lowe are two of the newest names on this year's Hall of Fame ballot, with other former Red Sox outfielder Jason Bay also making the list for the first time.
Some other players with Red Sox connections who will be eligible for Hall of Fame consideration include Curt Schilling, Manny Ramirez, Roger Clemens and Billy Wagner. The election results will be announced Jan. 22.
