The Red Sox saw a bit of a slide in their guys when it came to the latest American League All-Star balloting. But it was nothing that would seem to change who is going where and when.

Houston's Jose Altuve (2,460,967) took over the lead for most votes given to a player, passing Mookie Betts (2,337,514), with Betts still leading all outfielders. The other two starting outfielders would be Mike Trout and Aaron Judge, with Andrew Benintendi slotting in at No. 6.

J.D. Martinez (1,675,492) continues to dominate the designated hitter category, easily out-pacing Giancarlo Stanton (738,878).

Mitch Moreland has slid into third-place at first base, residing behind Chicago's Jose Abreu and Houston's Yuli Gurriel.
