No Rob Gronkowski. No Tom Brady. No Elandon Roberts. No Kyle Van Noy. The Patriots are an example of how we may not truly appreciate big personalities until they're gone.
Forget what position the Patriots need in this upcoming NFL Draft. It would sure be nice if Bill Belichick could select a personality and/or performer that spices things up a bit. (Sorry, with all due respect to Jarret Stidham, right now he's not close to a Brady-esque needle-mover when it comes to quotes and conversation.)
So here are five players who the media should be hoping to get a call at some point the next few days:
MEKHI BECTON, OFFENSIVE TACKLE
“I feel like I’m the most dominant tackle in the Draft. I finish almost every play. It’s just fun seeing a man on the ground every play and going to jump on him. Run behind me. It doesn’t matter where you’re running as long as you’re running behind me.”
K'LAVON CHAISSON, LINEBACKER

I speak three languages. I do pass rush. I can drop in coverage and cover anybody you want me to cover. And I can play the run and no offensive lineman can ever move me off the ball and bully me."
KENNY WILLEKES, DEFENSIVE LINEMAN

TUA TAGOVAILOA, QUARTERBACK
