Thaddeus Moss says the Bengals and Patriots were also interested in signing him after the draft. He chose the Redskins because they called first.

May 13, 2020 Moss was once considered one of the top tight end prospects heading into this year's NFL Draft, having totaled nine catches for 135 yards and three touchdowns in LSU's two playoff games. But after it was revealed at the NFL combine that he had a Jones fracture in his right foot his stock slid.
Moss finished his final season with LSU having hauled in 47 catches for 570 yards over 12 games in the Tigers' undefeated season.
The Patriots did draft a pair of tight ends -- Devin Asiasi out of UCLA and Virginia Tech's Dalton Keene.
