BALTIMORE -- J.D. Martinez's post-All-Star break home run drought is over.
The Red Sox designated hitter notched his 30th homer of the year in the first inning Tuesday night against Orioles starter Yefry Ramirez, clearing the right-field wall. It was Martinez's 11 homer on the road and gave the visitors a 1-0 lead. He added another in the eighth inning, allowing the righty hitter to surpass Cleveland's Jose Ramirez for the major league lead.
