The change was short-lived.
After sliding Mookie Betts up to the leadoff spot for the final two games in Oakland, Alex Cora has reverted back to his original plan of using Andrew Benintendi as his leadoff hitter, putting Betts in the No. 2 hole.
Also of note is Rick Porcello's return to the batter's box thanks to playing in the Diamondbacks home ballpark. The Sox starter notched three hits in seven at-bats last season, including a pair of doubles.
Here is the Red Sox' batting order against Arizona righty Zack Godley:
Andrew Benintendi LF
Mookie Betts CF
Mitch Moreland 1B
J.D. Martinez RF
Xander Bogaerts SS
Rafael Devers 3B
Blake Swihart C
Brock Holt 2B
Rick Porcello P
