NEW YORK -- Mookie Betts will be sitting out another day after being pulled from Sunday afternoon's game with left side soreness.
Betts is not in the Red Sox' lineup Tuesday night as they look to clinch the American League East crown. Manager Alex Cora said after Sunday's win -- which brought the Sox' Magic Number to two -- that the outfielder might be able to serve as a designated hitter in the series opener against the Yankees.
Another Sox hitter will be making his return, though, as Eduardo Nunez is back in as the DH after missing the last three games with a balky right knee.
On the other side, Aaron Judge makes his return to the New York lineup, getting his first at-bats since fracturing his right wrist on July 26.
