MINNEAPOLIS -- Tuesday night it was an acrobatic catch against the center field wall that defined Jackie Bradley Jr.'s defensive excellence.

Wednesday night the outfielder didn't wait long to give another positive impression.

In the first inning of the Red Sox game against the Twins in the teams' series finale, Bradley Jr. was forced to collect a Nelson Cruz blast off the right-field wall which J.D. Martinez had overrun. C.J. Cron, who was standing at first base, used the opportunity to attempt a run at reaching home for the game's first run.

Bradley Jr. had other ideas.

The center fielder gathered in the carom and immediately fired a strike to catcher Sandy Leon on the fly, reaching Leon in plenty of time for him to tag out Cron.
