The starting pitchers keep coming off the board with one notable name finding a new home Tuesday.
The Twins announced that they signed both Homer Bailey and Rich Hill (both on one-year deals). WEEI.com has learned via a major league source that Hill's deal is for a guaranteed $3 million with an extra $9 million in incentives that can be maxed out with 75 innings or 15 games started.
There had been mutual interest between the Red Sox and Hill, who still lives in the Boston area.
The 39-year-old Hill won't be available to pitch until June or early July due to elbow surgery.
