The first report that Governor Charlie Baker was throwing out the first pitch came early Friday morning.

Then Red Sox team president Sam Kennedy came on the Greg Hill Show and refuted the report.

Appearing on OMF with Glenn Ordway and Lou Merloni, Red Sox chairman Tom Werner that Baker and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh each would be throwing out the first pitch at Fenway, joined by a third participant who Werner would only identify as a COVID-19 survivor who "is very important to our community.
