FOXBORO -- After winning the World Series last Sunday night, it's been a very busy and exciting week for Red Sox manager Alex Cora.

The team was honored last Tuesday at the Celtics game, had its parade in Boston on Wednesday, and then over the weekend Cora took the World Series trophy to his hometown in Puerto Rico, but according to him nothing was better than what happened Sunday night.

Cora and the Red Sox were honored before the Patriots game and he was able to sneak a selfie with Tom Brady.

"The selfie topped it off, sorry to say it," Cora said to NESN's Courtney Cox. "We're the world champs, the parade was great, but a selfie with the greatest of all-time, that was the best of the week."

"I know how locked in he gets, but the fact he came up to me -- and he said congratulations to everybody, so I was like, 'I might as well.' He didn't hesitate so it was awesome," he added.

Brady seemed pretty excited about it, too.

"I think we get great support and we have from our entire community and all the states here in New England," he said afterwards. "What the Red Sox did this year was incredible. I think all the teams in this, Boston certainly, we're here to win. I think the organizations are committed to winning, so it's great to see. I mean, it's fun to be a part of ours. I mean, I love playing here and I love supporting those other teams, too. So, I got a selfie with Alex Cora. That was nice, but he probably didn't send it to me."

Me with the --.
