The following Patriots players are inactive for Sunday's game against the Texans: tight end Ryan Izzo, cornerback Jason McCourty, defensive tackle Byron Cowart, quarterback Cody Kessler, running back Damien Harris, offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor, and offensive lineman Korey Cunningham.
Izzo (illness), McCourty (groin) and Cowart (head) were all ruled out prior to the game. Kessler, Harris, Cunningham and Eluemunor all are healthy inactives.
This means wide receivers Mohamed Sanu and Phillip Dorsett will return after missing last week. Tom Brady and the Patriots offense have a full complement of weapons for the second game all season.
It also means all nine Patriots that were questionable for the game due to illness are active. Some of these include Stephon Gilmore, Kyle Van Noy, Jamie Collins and Dont'a Hightower.
After an adventurous week on the injury front, there really are no surprises for the game.
