Report: Antonio Brown accuser to meet with NFL Monday, as league wants investigating to move quickly

Antonio Brown will be on the field Sunday afternoon in Miami as he begins his career with the Patriots, and off the field the investigation into a civil lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault and rape is set to begin as well.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Brown's accuser, Britney Taylor, will meet with the league on Monday.

The NFL wants the investigation to move as quickly as possible given games are being played every week. The report adds while Brown wasn't placed on the Commissioner's Exempt list this week, it is possible as the investigation moves forward this week.

Taylor could not meet with the league last week, as she was getting married over the weekend. She won't be the only person the NFL meets with. There was another player, a rookie, in the house when Taylor alledges one of the incidents took place, and he is compelled to meet with investigators as well.

It's likely more evidence regarding the case will come out this week, so while Brown's career with the Patriots is just getting under way, given what happens this week may determine exactly how long it lasts.
