ST. PAUL, Minn. -- New this year is the NFL posting full audio from all players and coaches who go to podiums. This gave us a chance to listen back to Bill Belichick's entire session with the media during Super Bowl LII Opening Night.

We picked out some of the best exchanges, which included him revealing what prompted him to wear a fedora when he got off the plane, and noting he watches "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

Here's the best of Belichick from Monday night.

On his fedora and if girlfriend Linda Holliday had anything to do with it: "She might have had a little bit to do with it. That was my dad's hat so I thought I might toss that one on today. … Minnesota is a good place to have a hat on, so it did the trick."

More on the hat: "I saw the hat this morning, and Minnesota, it is cold, it actually isn't cold, but they kind of think it is going to be. I just put a hat on. I mean look, I don't spend 72 hours thinking about what I am going to wear. I just don't do that."

Comedian J. B. Smoove asked him if he's watched Season 9 of "Curb Your Enthusiasm": "I don't think I am that far along yet, but I am getting there. That is like a summer thing, just get in there and knock out like seven or eight episodes all at once."

On the pronunciation of his last name: "Well it was obviously a Croatian name coming over, my grandparents didn't speak English, so it kind of got pronounced wrong. Beli-chick to Vanderbilt, Annapolis, it kind of became Bella-check, so a lot of my relatives are Beli-chick, a lot of my relatives are Bella-check. I've answered to a lot of things. That is one of the nicer names I have been called."

On Tom Brady telling a reporter Belichick is ticklish: "I'm not ticklish. Yeah, this is an adult show."

On a reporter requesting an autograph: "Yeah, when I get done I will sign it. … I will sign it when I get done with the interview, this isn't an autograph session, it is an interview session. You got it? Great. Next."

On squash, which he said he played a lot of growing up: "Squash you have to stay away from the ball, that isn't exactly the same in football."
