BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Following the ESPN story from a few weeks ago detailing tension in the Patriots' organization, some speculated about just how strong the relationship is between Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.
Some thought Belichick really does want to win with another quarterback besides Brady and also he wanted to keep Jimmy Garoppolo and not trade him at the trade deadline this past October.
But, speaking on Thursday at his last availability before Super Bowl LII, Belichick gave the ultimate compliment to Brady.
"There's no quarterback I would rather have playing for my team than Tom Brady," he said. "Glad to have him."
The duo will be going for their sixth Super Bowl title Sunday night against the Eagles.
