While there will be a conflict Sunday with the Red Sox and Patriots playing at the same time, there won't be on Saturday with the Red Sox and Bruins.

On Wednesday, the Bruins announced the start time for the game against the Red Wings on Saturday, October 13, has been changed to 3 p.m. after it was originally scheduled for 7 p.m.

This is to avoid going head-to-head with Game 1 of the ALCS between the Red Sox and Astros, which will begin just after 8 p.m. at Fenway Park. On Sunday, Game 2 is scheduled for 7:09 p.m., while the Patriots will take on the Chiefs at 8:20 p.m. down I-95 at Gillette Stadium.

The Bruins are coming off a 6-3 over the Senators Monday in their home opener.
