There may be a nice story coming in the wake of Oskar Sundqvist's suspension for Game 3.

According to Blues coach Craig Berube, Zach Sanford, who grew up in Manchester and played at Pinkerton Academy and Boston College, is expected to take Sundqvist’s roster spot for Game 3 Saturday night, although a final decision will not come until Saturday.

The 24-year-old played in 60 games this past season and tallied eight goals and 12 assists.

It will obviously be a dream come true to get to play in the Stanley Cup Final, but perhaps even more special getting to play against the team he grew up watching.
