Cordarrelle Patterson will not be returning to the Patriots.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Patterson will sign a two-year deal with the Bears worth $10 million.
Patterson was a valuable member of the team last year, his first and only season in New England, filling a number of different roles. He obviously was a receiver and kick returner, but then when the team had injuries at running back he contributed out of the backfield, too.
The 27-year-old finished with 21 catches for 247 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 228 yards on the ground.
It's not too much of a surprise he isn't returning to New England, especially given the contract he got from Chicago.
Wide receiver is a top priority for the Patriots this offseason with the only returner being Julian Edelman.
