Like almost every company in America, the Patriots organization is reacting to the coronavirus.
According to MMQB's Albert Breer, Patriots coaches and scouts are being told not to fly, and are being encouraged to work from home for the time being.
Almost the entire NFL has issued similar guidelines.
While the NFL is out of season, it will be interesting to see what happens beginning next week when free agency is scheduled to begin on Wednesday with the legal tampering period starting Monday. The majority of this can be done not in person, but there are some things that cannot (physicals, face-to-face meetings, etc). There's also the bad optics aspect to consider as well.
As of Friday afternoon, the NFL has indicated there are no plans to push back free agency.
MLB, NHL and NBA have delayed its seasons, while the NCAA completly canceled the rest of the winter and spring sports, which includes March Madness.
