While David Ortiz continues to recover at Mass General Hospital, there have been a few developments from the Dominican Republic relating to the shooting.
Six men have been arrested and one remains at large. He was identified as Luis Alfredo Rivas Clase, who also goes by the nickname "The Surgeon."
The director of the national police said all men were part of the murder plot to kill the former Red Sox slugger Sunday night for a $8,000 bounty. The suspected gunman, 25-year-old Rolfy Ferreyra Cruz, is part of the group arrested.
Also, the hand gun used in the incident has been found.
The investigation remains on-going.
