INDIANAPOLIS -- As expected, it looks like Dion Lewis is going to be a popular man in the coming weeks.
According to Pro Football Talk, Lewis is expected to get serious consideration from multiple teams as a free agent, including the Jets, Colts, Raiders, Texans and 49ers.
The shifty running back has spent the last three years in New England, although he was limited in his first two years after tearing his ACL midway through the 2015 season and still recovering in 2016.
This past season he played all 16 games for the first time in his career and finished with 896 rushing yards and six touchdowns.
Lewis isn't the only free agent running back the Patriots have, as Rex Burkhead is also set to hit the open market.
It would seem the Patriots will need to add a running back or two either via free agency or the draft.
