Following Antonio Brown's release from the Patriots last Friday, Drew Rosenhaus released a statement saying his client was healthy and hopes to find a new team soon.
Rosenhaus expanded on his thoughts this week when appearing on Warren Sapp's "99 Problems" podcast, including saying there are a few teams "very interested" in Brown.
"I have had discussions with a few teams that are very interested in him and want to know about his future and what's going on with the NFL," he said, via NBC Sports Boston. "Hopefully, when that is all resolved, Antonio will be able to continue his Hall of Fame career."
Brown's agent said his client is going through a difficult time, not being able to play in the NFL.
"It's a very difficult time for him, not playing," Rosenhaus said. "We expected him to be playing against the Jets on Sunday, so it's tough for someone who loves the game not to be playing right now, and the hope is that we'll cooperate with the NFL in its investigation and get him back with a team to continue this tremendous career he's had."
On Sunday, Brown went on a Twitter tirade which included saying he doesn't want to play in the NFL again and also taking a shot at Robert Kraft, which has since been deleted.
While Brown cannot be placed on the Commissioner's Exempt list since he's a free agent, if he were to sign with a team then it's possible that could change.
The NFL is still investigating multiple allegations against Brown, including Britney Taylor accusing him of sexual assault and rape in a civil lawsuit.
