Defensive end/linebacker Cassius Marsh played for three teams last season -- Seahawks, Patriots and 49ers.
Marsh was traded to New England before the start of the regular season, but never really fit in and was released by the team in late November before being claimed by the 49ers. He was able to reunite with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who was getting set to lead the 49ers to a 5-0 finish to the season.
Speaking to the San Fransisco Chronicle, Marsh said he called his success before anybody and seemed to indicate Garoppolo is pretty close to Tom Brady's level.
“I already knew that was going to happen; I called it before anybody,” Marsh said. “I knew because I was with the Patriots and he would shred our defense every day. He’d shred the first team every day, and it looked no different than when Tom [Brady] was on the field. He’s a much better athlete than Tom; he’s super disciplined and works hard. I’m very happy to have him as my quarterback.”
This comes following Marsh also telling the paper the Patriots don't have any fun and he wasn't used properly.
