It appears a familiar face will be back in Foxboro on Thursday.
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, free agent linebacker Jonathan Casillas will be visiting New England. This isn't the first time the team has showed an interest in him returning, as there were rumors he was being targeted at the trade deadline last season.
The 30-year-old has spent the last three years with the Giants, but he spent time with the Patriots in 2014 after they traded for him in the middle of the season. He was part of the Super Bowl XLIX winning team.
While he isn't a big name, he would help the depth at the linebacker position.
In eight games with the Giants last year he had 35 tackles.
