After being arrested on numerous charges on Sunday including kidnapping, burglary, false imprisonment and violation of a restraining order following what police described a domestic disturbance, former Patriots cornerback Brandon Browner has a more serious charge: attempted murder.
The 33-year-old was charged on Tuesday with attempted murder, first-degree residential robbery, among other things. His arraignment is scheduled for July 30.
According to TMZ, Browner's bail was set at $10 million and if he's convicted he faces a maximum sentence of life in a state prison.
Browner was part of the Patriots' Super Bowl XLIX winning team and spent five total seasons in the NFL.
