Brandon Browner won a Super Bowl with the Patriots four years ago. Four years later, he's been sentenced to eight years in prison.

According to TMZ, Browner was sentenced to eight years in jail after he pleaded no contest to attempted murder. The former NFL cornerback was charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident involving his ex-girlfriend in California.

Police said Browner broke into his ex-girlfriend's house and threatened to kill her, as well as stole a watch worth over $20,000.

Browner also won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks.

His last NFL team was the Seahawks when he returned to Seattle in 2016, but was cut before the end of training camp.
