That came together quick.
Less than a week after parting ways with Mike Mularkey, the Titans have hired Mike Vrabel as their next head coach. Vrabel was the Texans' defensive coordinator and of course had a great playing career in New England.
Some had said Josh McDaniels might consider this job, but with it off the board, it all but indicates he will be going to Indianapolis to be the next coach of the Colts.
It is worth noting this is setting up the AFC South to have three head coaches with Patriots connections -- McDaniels (Colts), Vrabel (Titans) and Bill O'Brien (Texans).
The Patriots play all three teams next season.
