Cordarelle Patterson won a Super Bowl in his first and only season with the Patriots as he signed a two-year, $10 million deal with the Bears this offseason.
In an interview with Red Line Media’s Justin Turpin, Patterson was asked about win over the Rams and it doesn't seem like it meant that much to him.
“What’s it like to be a Super Bowl champ? Honestly, that Super Bowl don’t mean (expletive) to me, know what I’m saying?” Patterson said. “I’m in a new era right now, I’m on a new team, so it’s a new opportunity for me to bring my legacy (and let it) live on to another team. So whatever happened in the last year, in the past, that’s in the past so I’m just moving forward.” Patterson not only played wide receiver last season, but also filled in at running back when the team had a number of injuries. He finished the year with 21 catches for 247 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 228 yards and a touchdown on 42 carries.
