ESPN's Field Yates revealed the full details of Newton's contract Thursday and the incentives are tied towards playing time and the Patriots' success. The total value of the deal maxes out at $7.5 million.

— Field Yates (@FieldYates) July 9, 2020It's worth noting the playing time incentives start at 13 percent, which since Newton played just 12.9 percent of the snaps last season these can be classified as not likely to be earned.
Newton officially signed with the Patriots on Wednesday.
