Texans CB Aaron Colvin disagrees with Rob Gronkowski catch late in 1st half: 'I mean we're playing in New England. So you know what that means'

FOXBORO -- Here we go again.

It seems every year a NFL player believes there's a conspiracy theory with the referees in games involving the Patriots, and Texans cornerback Aaron Colvin is the latest.

With 1:05 left in the first half, Tom Brady hit Rob Gronkowski for a 28-yard completion to get down to the Texans' 31-yard line. From some angles it appeared the ball came loose, but Brady raced to the line and snapped the ball before it could be reviewed.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Colvin was not happy.

"That's BS in my opinion," he said. "I don't think he caught that ball. I think that was the big play in the game, but it is what it is. We got to get that ball and make it unquestionable."

Colvin added: "It's tough man, but I mean we're playing in New England. So you know what that means."

Houston could have called a timeout to allow more time for the play to get reviewed, but Bill O'Brien said it is not his responsibility. Referee Tony Corrente confirmed New York tried to get the play reviewed, but the Patriots had already snapped the ball when he got word.

Phillip Dorsett capped the drive with a four-yard touchdown reception, giving the Patriots a 21-6 halftime lead.
