Jaguars safety Barry Church was flagged for 15 yards for his hit on Rob Gronkowski in the AFC title game, and now a week later he's also been fined.
According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, Church was fined $24,309 for the hit.
Just before halftime, Gronkowski ran a seam route over the middle of the field and as the ball arrived Church came from his safety position and hit him helmet-to-helmet causing the ball to fall incomplete. Gronkowski left the game and didn't return with a concussion.
Afterwards, Church was apologetic and hoped Gronkowski is able to play in the Super Bowl.
Gronkowski hasn't yet practiced, but he's reportedly expected to be able to play next Sunday against the Eagles.
