Even though Gillette Stadium isn't the loudest in the league, it doesn't mean it's not a tough place to play.
Speaking to reporters in Jacksonville on Monday, coach Doug Marrone said Gillette Stadium is the toughest place he's ever coached.
"One time, someone asked what’s the toughest place to play," Marrone said. "I said Gillette Stadium in New England. They said, come on. I’m like, look at their record. I’ve always thought it was the most difficult place I’ve ever played.”
Marrone has a 1-1 record at Gillette Stadium when he was with the Bills. The one win was when the Patriots rested their starters at the end of the 2014 season.
All-time, the Jaguars are 1-10 against the Patriots. The one win was in the 1999 wild card game, which was played in Jacksonville.
