Even though it's been five months, Jacksonville wide out Marqise Lee still isn't over the loss to the Patriots in the AFC championship game.
"A lot of people felt like we should've won that [AFC title game]," Lee said to NFL.com last week. "That's a fact. No offense to the Patriots. They're a great team, but we should've beat them. But we fell short. Next year is another opportunity to get back to it. It's a lot of work, but I feel like we have the right team and pieces to get it going."
Despite the loss, the team isn't discouraged.
"We know the type of team we have," he added.
Of course, Jacksonville led 17-10 going into the fourth quarter and then went up 20-10 with an early fourth quarter field goal, but Tom Brady led the Patriots back to a 24-20 win with two fourth quarterback touchdown passes to Danny Amendola.
The Jaguars will get their chance at revenge this year, as they host the Patriots in Week 2.
