Perhaps Jarrett Stidham's early struggles are injury related.
According to NFL Media's Mike Giardi and Ian Rapoport, Stidham is dealing with a leg injury, which is causing him some discomfort. He saw less reps than the other two quarterbacks Thursday, so perhaps that was injury related.
The second-year QB is present at the start of practice Friday, but it is unclear how much he will do.
WEEI's Nick "Fitzy" Stevens was first to report a potential injury.
Stidham has thrown six interceptions in the first week of practice, which are very high for him.
As of now it appears the starting QB job is Cam Newton's to lose.
