At first glance, looking at Jarvis Landry's quote from Thursday, it appears he's guaranteeing a win against the Patriots -- but is he really?
“We’re going to win,” Landry told reporters in Cleveland when asked about Sunday’s game at Gillette Stadium. “It’s that simple. We’re going there to win.”
Of course, right away the tweets went viral, but then were quickly clarified by Landry himself.
#Browns WR Jarvis Landry clarified a comment he just made moments ago, saying we’re going to Foxborough with intention to win. He explained he’s not guaranteeing a win over #Patriots

October 24, 2019 While Landry was not wrong with what he said, as it clearly was meant to say the Browns are going to Gillette Stadium with the intent of winning, don't tell that to Bill Belichick and the Patriots who likely already have the quote plastered on the walls inside the facility.
The Patriots will host the Browns Sunday at 4:25 p.m.
