FOXBORO -- Josh Gordon has officially been suspended again.
On Thursday, the NFL announced Gordon has been returned to the reserve/commissioner suspended list indefinitely for violating the terms of his conditional reinstatement under the policy and program for substances of abuse.
Gordon's suspension is indefinite.
Earlier in the day Gordon posted to Twitter saying he is stepping away from football for a bit to address his mental health issues.
In his 11 games with the Patriots, he had totaled 40 receptions for 720 yards and three touchdowns
The Patriots now have an open spot on their 53-man roster.
