As the Patriots departed for Cincinnati Saturday afternoon, the team announced defensive tackle Byron Cowart (concussion) did not make the trip.
This means key players listed as questionable -- Julian Edelman (knee/shoulder) and Ted Karras (knee) -- did fly with the team and is a good sign for them in terms of playing in the game against the Bengals.
Edelman missed Wednesday's practice and did not speak to the media at all this week, while Karras missed last week's game with a knee injury suffered against the Texans.
The Patriots have six players still questionable: Edelman, Karras, Mohamed Sanu (ankle), Danny Shelton (shoulder), Jason McCourty (groin) and Ja'Whaun Bentley (knee).
