Julian Edelman compares himself, Cam Newton to Batman, Superman

The connection between Julian Edelman and Cam Newton is growing on the field with the two hooking up multiple times in practice over the last few sessions.

And based on Julian Edelman's recent social media post, he likes the way things are going and also thinks Newton will be the starting QB.

In the post, Edelman compared himself and Newton to Batman and Superman. Newton of course has the Superman nickname because of his touchdown celebrations.

The post is below, which included the caption: "The night is darkest just before the dawn. And I promise you, the dawn is coming..."

Bill Belichick has seemed to indicate there's still an open competition between Newton, Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer.
