FOXBORO -- News of Julian Edelman's suspension came out on the final day of media availability this spring, so Bill Belichick, or anyone on the team, hasn't had the chance to address it.

That changed Wednesday at Bill Belichick's first press conference of the summer.

"Julian is a very hard-working player," Belichick said. "We're all disappointed, but it is what it is. He's disappointed. He's moved on. We've moved on. Just take what we have now and do the best we can with it. I know he's been here the last couple days. He's got a good attitude. He'll make the most of the opportunities that he has, whatever those are."

Edelman appealed the suspension, but it was denied through a third-party.

The Patriots receiver will now miss games against the Texans, Jaguars, Lions and Dolphins. He will return Week 5, which is a Thursday night home game against the Colts. His absence will be interesting as besides Chris Hogan, there isn't a receiver on the depth chart who has extensive time working with Tom Brady.
