When it comes to fighting suspensions, Julian Edelman will not go the Tom Brady route.
According to NFL Media's Tom Pelissero, Edelman will not take his case to federal court. The wide out was suspended four games for using a banned substance and there was some thought he would take the case further and sue the league over the decision. The report notes his case his different than Brady's because Edelman's appeal was heard by an independent arbitrator.
The receiver argued during his appeal that there were mistakes made in the testing and other processes involved.
Edelman will now officially return in Week 5 against the Colts.
