According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Kyrie Irving is "serious" about the Nets and they are are serious about beating the rest of the league to the biggest free agents. In addition, the team has cleared cap space so now they have room for two max free agents.
Irving can opt out of his deal with the Celtics and become a free agent this summer.
The 27-year-old finished this past season averaging 23.8 points per game.
