It appears LeGarrette Blount was not a fan of how his time ended in New England.

Following the 2016 season, and winning Super Bowl LI, the Patriots could have re-signed Blount, but instead chose not to. They even placed the "unrestricted free agent tender" on him, which made him tougher to sign.

Blount ended up signing a one-year deal with the Eagles and beat the Patriots in Super Bowl LII.

"The way things ended (in New England) was not to my liking," Blount said in a segment of NFL Network's America's Game, which aired Thursday night. "I had told them how bad I wanted to be there and how much I wanted to stay there and I didn't want to leave, and they couldn't get a deal done for me. I just feel like they didn't respect me at all."

Blount rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries in the Super Bowl LII win.
