Tuesday is a special day in Boston.
The Red Sox will receive their World Series rings in a pregame ceremony before the home opener. In addition, the Patriots will also be honored for winning the Super Bowl over the Rams. While Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Rob Gronkowski are not expected to attend, several other players including Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman and Stephon Gilmore are.

12:45 p.m.: The red carpets have been rolled out on both sides of the field with a table behind second base where the players will receive there rings. WEEI.com's Rob Bradford has spotted Manny Ramirez, so he's likely to be part of the festivities.
1:05 p.m.: The Boston pops is set up in shallow right field.
1:06 p.m.: John Henry, Tom Werner, Dave Dombrowski, others have made their way to behind second base where the rings are located.
1:10: p.m.: The ceremony begins with a performance from the Boston pops.
1:13 p.m.: All of the Red Sox World Series banners get hung from Green Monster.
1:15 p.m.: The trophies get brought onto the field by Pedro Martinez, Orlando Cabrera, Tim Wakefield, Curt Schilling, Mike Timlin, Manny Ramirez, Manny Delcarmen, Mike Lowell, Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Will Middlebrooks, Mike Napoli and David Ortiz.
1:18 p.m.: Each member of the team -- players and coaches -- make their way onto the field individually to receive their ring. Alex Cora was first.
1:25 p.m.: David Price is the first player. He tips his cap to the crowd.
1:28 p.m.: Nathan Eovaldi gets one of the louder applauses along with Steve Pearce.
1:30 p.m.: Brandon Phillips has returned to get his ring.
1:32 p.m.: Mookie Betts is last to receive his ring.
1:35 p.m.: The entire team is in center field to raise the World Series flag.
1:42 p.m.: The Blue Jays are now being introduced.
1:54 p.m.: Both national anthems were played.

2:00 p.m.: Edelman, Gilmore and Gronkowski threw out the ceremonial first pitches.
